Alginate Dressing

Alginate dressings are highly absorbent, biodegradable wound dressings made from natural brown seaweed fibers, designed for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. They form a hydrophilic gel upon contact with wound exudate, creating a moist healing environment, supporting autolytic debridement, and protecting against infection.  Alginate dressings also come in Silver (AG) for antimicrobial properties.
